LeFruit Holding Corporation, trading as LE FRUIT , started its operations in 1999. Since then it has become the third largest exporter of bananas from Ecuador. LEFRUIT markets high quality Ecuadorian bananas, both directly and through other exporters, giving it between 10.5% and 12.5% market share of Ecuadorian banana exports, whichin turn, represents about 5.6% of world market share.

LEFRUIT exports to Europe, mainly to the Mediterranean region, the Black Sea, Poland, Russia, the Baltic States, to North Africa, Japan, Iran, Argentina and increasingly to the European Union.
